Global architecture firm NBBJ has been listed in the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list of 2025. The firm, which was also recently honored at the 2025 AIA Architecture Awards, was described as an “architectural powerhouse” by TIME, which pointed to their work in prefabricated manufactured components to speed construction of large-scale health care projects.
“We’re deconstructing the complexities of hospital design to create modular components that can be deployed system-wide,” NBBJ partner and healthcare lead Andy Snyder told TIME. “It’s like an erector set—standardized parts built in a factory, then installed on site to improve quality and reduce cost.”
While NBBJ was the only architectural design firm to be included, the TIME100 list this year also included Diriyah Company, the entity behind the $63 billion Saudi tourism development Diriyah Gate, which “melds modern luxuries with the region’s traditional mud-brick Najdi architecture,” according to TIME.
Also listed was outdoor smoke detector startup Pano AI, renewable energy company Engie, and The Lego Group, with TIME noting that “brick by brick, Lego keeps building itself up.”
