Ted Peate’s Grave

Hello all

A little while ago I posted here about my dad’s campaign to get Ted Peate the headstone he never had. Many of you offered kind words, donations, and support which he was grateful for.

Yesterday, in a quiet corner of the cemetery, that 125-year wrong was finally set right. On a beautifully sunny day, a small group gathered to remember Peate's name, now etched in stone where it belongs.

Thanks to your generosity, book sales, and the help of former Yorkshire players, we were able to honour him.

It was a simple, moving moment — and it wouldn’t have happened without the cricketing community. Thank you to you all.
